What's the word Privacy Policy

My app, What's the word (Windows Store), does not collect or publish any personal information.

Setup What's the word database

Learning is most effective when you manage your own database of words. You could just download my database and get started, but you will not be able to answer if you have not learnt the word yet. Similarly, if you have learnt  some words not in my database, you will not be able to practice that either.

It is really easy to setup the database - since you are already here - you have already setup your DropBox. Use your excel, open your DropBox folder\Apps\What's the word\exercise.csv and add your words in. Put the hint on the left hand side and the answer is the right hand side, save that.

That's all your will need, swipe back to your app and you will be able to do the exercises right away!

Update the file anytime, every time the app starts it will download the latest version on DropBox.

Note! Don't put any comma in the hint or answer.

Coursera Viewer New Release

This release comes with a simple but handy feature - now you can hold you surface upside down and still see the videos list in your orientation! This can come particularly useful if you have to connect your headphone with USB and you want that line on your left.

Coursera Viewer Interruption Again

Coursera Viewer is broken by an authentication protocol change again. This time they made their authentication cookies HTTP only, but the library I used does not support HTTP only cookies well, so it got broken. I have made a fix and submitted to Windows Store, please update your app to access Coursera again.

Coursera Viewer bug fix again

If you were like me who is studying Hardware Software Interface from University of Washington, you probably notice one video cannot be downloaded. It is because there was a tab character in the file name (from the download protocol) that the windows file system does not support, I have updated my code to just ignore that character. Please update if you have not already do so :)
